Job Description:
Zippee is looking for a proactive Business Operations Associate to drive day-to-day business operations, procurement, and cross-functional execution.
You'll work across teams to manage vendors and procurement, streamline processes, support dark store launches, and drive key initiatives to closure.
This is a hands-on role for someone sharp with numbers, who follows through relentlessly, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced startup.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and improve operational processes across procurement, vendors, assets, travel, and expenses.
Manage the procurement lifecycle, including vendor sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, POs, and contract execution.
Track key initiatives, drive follow-ups, and ensure timely closure.
Support city teams with new dark store launches and expansion projects across India.
Coordinate across internal teams and external vendors to unblock operational issues.
Track costs, maintain MIS, and keep leadership updated on key initiatives.
Identify process gaps and implement practical, scalable improvements.
Qualifications:
0–2 years of experience in Business Operations, Procurement, Strategy, or Project Management.
Strong ownership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-pressure startup environment.
Able to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
Bachelor’s or MBA from a top-tier institution preferred.
Experience with ERP or ERP-based procurement systems is a plus.
